Resting Mind
A statuesque person rests in a peaceful embrace of an eased mind and untroubled heart.
From a time of stress, and finding solace in rest and painting. I purposely wanted to make the face appear like a statue, and the sides of the mind to seem like thorns, with the soft yellow for a sense of peace in thought. Gold and green emulate a patina, but also remind to embrace our hearts rest and how special those moments can be.
